SA Police 175th Anniversary 2013
SAPOL Academy Open Day 28 April 2013
A quick collection of snapshots from our visit to the new Police Training Academy and their History Parade - featuring uniforms and narration of the various divisions and their history from the first officer and his hearty band of twenty constables, through to the efficient and proud Police force we have today. The second oldest in the world.

A quick collection of snapshots from our visit to the new Police Training Academy and their History Parade - featuring uniforms and narration of the various divisions and their history from the first officer and his hearty band of twenty constables, through to the efficient and proud Police force we have today. The second oldest in the world.
These photos are what I consider only snapshots, typical tourist photos, as I had my son and a friend of his with me, dragging me off to the next exciting display or choosing where we sat for the Parade and exhibition.
Thankyou to all the members of our South Australian Police Force,
you do a challenging job well, so well we hardly even notice what you are doing except when we have problems and need your help.
A big thankyou to all those who helped put on the wonderful open day at the Academy, I enjoyed it and I know the boys with me did too.
As I live only a few streets away it was great to finally see how the new academy looked from the inside, and where our 'tax dollars' went in its redevelopment, money well spent I now see.
Again, SAPOL ; Thankyou
Mike
